Is there an age limit for the consumption of energy drinks?
No, at the moment there are no legal age restrictions. We don't recommend that children that children drink Boost. Somebody's weight and tolerance to caffeine will determine how much of a stimulation effect an energy drink will cause. This varies according to the individual and is not dependent on age.
What warnings are energy drink products required to display on their packaging?
Energy drink products are only legally required to carry a high caffeine warning. We go further than this and clearly states if our products aren't unsuitable for anyone sensitive to caffeine, as well as diabetics and children.
How much caffeine can cause a caffeine overdose?
This depends on someone's individual caffeine tolerance level, how often they consume caffeine and also their body weight. For example, a person who rarely consumes caffeine and has a low body weight will experience a stronger stimulation effect than someone who has a higher body weight and who is a frequent coffee drinker. If you feel unwell after consuming energy drinks, you should seek medical advice.
How much caffeine does the Boost 1 litre product contain?
It has the same amount of caffeine as two to three cups of strong coffee. We recommend that all energy drinks are consumed in moderation.
How does Boost try to prevent children consuming excessive amounts of caffeine?
We place clear warnings on all our energy drink products. We also communicate this warning and the importance of consuming energy drinks in moderation to all our retailers, as well as explaining caffeine tolerance and the factors that affect this.
What can I do if I suspect my child has consumed excessive amounts of caffeine?
Seek medical advice immediately.
What is a Boost Energy Cola?

Does it contain the same caffeine content as Boost Energy?
Yes, both contain 30mg/100ml. That's why you won't find it in the regular cola section of a retailer.
Does the caramel colour in the cola contain any GM ingredients?
No - GM is not present in the caramel colour E150d used.
