BOOST DRINKS ANNOUNCE RECORD SALES IN NORTHERN IRELAND
Independent energy drinks brand Boost has reported record growth in the Northern Irish market with sales up 93% year to date and up 76% after the last 12 months.
Latest figures reveal that sales of Boost Sport 49p price-marked line have tripled in value terms since last year in the Northern Ireland marketplace, as the demand for price marking continues to grow.
Having recently announced company-wide annual sales figures up 40% year-on-year, Boost is currently outperforming the dynamic energy drinks sector, with key trade account sales up 46% this year. Boost continues to work closely with independent and wholesale retailers to widen distribution across Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Due to the success of Boost’s first ever direct to consumer advertising campaign in Belfast, which included outdoor advertising, POS and special promotions, Boost rolled out an above the line marketing and sampling campaign in Leeds, targeting students. Following on from this success, Boost now plans to continue to grow a consumer presence rolling out future campaigns in a number of key regions commencing in September when the students return.
Simon Gray, managing director, said: “Since the launch of the brand in 2001, the Northern Irish market has played an integral role in Boost’s success. We have developed strong and lasting relationships with both the trade and the consumer audience and we will continue to offer value and quality, as well as innovation to ensure we continue being market leaders within this growing sector.”
