WINNING WEEK FOR BOOST DRINKS
Having seen off major competition in the Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 ranking at 44, Simon Gray, managing director of Leeds-based Boost Drinks was cordially invited to Richard Branson’s private estate in Oxfordshire for an exclusive presentation evening.
The prestigious event saw a collaboration of the top 100 companies named in this year’s Fast Track 100, and with Boost’s annual sales up a significant 40% year-on-year, the ceremony along with the guests highlighted the success of the company.
Boost was also invited to join the nationwide debate and share his thoughts and opinions at this year’s Soft Drinks Industry Conference. Simon presented to a number of blue-chip organisations including Coca Cola and Pepsi Co on value brands as a credible alternative for consumers.
The presentation was a succinct version of the brands white paper, which investigates consumers’ buying behaviour post recession and delivers an understanding on the importance of value.
In addition to this, Simon has also been named as one of the Yorkshire finalists in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Awards 20010, which is the second consecutive year of making it to the final of this award.
Simon Gray, managing director at Boost said: “Boost’s presence at the Soft Drinks Industry Conference was a very proud moment for the business. Not only did Boost sit amongst industry leaders, but also it allowed us to positively speak out about the importance of value, which is an essential part of business. Getting the chance to meet Sir Richard Branson was not only very enjoyable, but a very memorable moment for me personally.”
