BOOST DRINKS SHOWCASES NEW ADDITION TO ENERGY RANGE AT CRS OFFLICENSE SHOW 2010
Leading functional drinks brand Boost will be showcasing its complete portfolio of Energy, Sport, Smoothie and Active products on stand F309 at this year’s CRS Off-License Show, including its latest launch, Boost Energy Cola.
Boost Energy Cola, which is available in 250ml can, 500ml and the iconic 1L PET formats, has been developed to appeal to energy drinkers looking for a high caffeine boost, but with the popular taste of cola. Designed to sit in the energy aisle amongst Boost’s core line, Energy Cola is a carbonated cola-flavoured energy drink that contains the same taurine and 30mg per 100ml of caffeine as the original Boost Energy drink.
Product samples and more information will be available on the Boost stand. Boost’s 49p price-marked Energy can, Sport and Active packs will also be at the show, following the continued demand for price marking as consumers look for best value.
Visitors to the show will also be able to view Boost’s new brand campaign, which will launch to consumers as well as the trade for the first time in Boost’s history. In line with the growing popularity of Boost and its place in the market as a value offering, the campaign is aimed at improving distribution across the UK and widening brand awareness with the public.
Simon Gray, Boost managing director, said: “2010 is an exciting year for Boost, and the launch of our new brand campaign represents the next phase in our development, and will significantly benefit our trade customers. Our new cola-flavoured energy line also provides great opportunities for the trade. Consumers shopping in the energy aisle have not been offered an alternative flavour at our price point before, and this is a great time to launch a product that will open up the category and continue to drive growth within this sector of the soft drinks market.”
