Boost the Band competition terms & conditions
1. The competition is open to all, excluding employees and their immediate families of Boost Drinks, their agents (excluding clients), and anyone professionally connected with the competition or game development. Players under 16 years old will require the permission of a parent or guardian to play and accept a prize. No third party entries. COMPETITION END DATE: 31st May 2010.
2. You are only eligible to take part in this competition if you register your name and mobile number with Boost Drinks via mobile phone or iPhone game play (text keyword BOOST to 80988 or download the app from App Store) or by playing the game on boostdrinks.com/boost-the-band/. Non-registration will affect your participation in this competition. Texts will be charged at your standard rate, but may not be included within a pre-paid text package. Other than standard iPhone network charges, there is no charge for downloading the app from App Store.
3. Registered players must log their genuine gameplay scores via mobile phone or iPhone following their mobile phone or iPhone game play or on boostdrinks.com/boost-the-band/ following their online play. If the mobile phone you are using to play the game doesn't seem to be uploading your score to the leader board, then you may need to update your 'internet settings'. Please contact your mobile operator for more information.
4. Only scores logged by midnight on the last day of the competition period qualify towards this competition.
5. After the competition closes, the ten mobile phone players, the ten internet players and the ten iPhone players that appear on the leader board (boostdrinks.com/boost-the-band/leaderboard/) will be eligible for one free case of Boost drinks. These 30 players will be contacted by Boost Drinks 14 days after the competition close date via the contact details provided at the time their scores were submitted (either mobile phone number or email address). The winning players must then provide Boost Drinks with confirmation of their age and a postal address to which Boost Drinks will send their one case of Boost drinks. The address provided must be able to accept oversized deliveries. In the event that a winner fails to reply to a winning notification within 28 days, then the Promoter reserves the right to re-award the prize, in which case the original winner will forfeit any rights to a prize.
6. Boost Drinks is not responsible for re-delivery of prizes that could not be accepted at the given address.
7. In the event that the same player appears twice on the leader board at the time the competition closes, that player will be eligible for only one case of Boost drinks. No player is eligible to win more than one case of Boost drinks.
8. Winning players 16 years old and older will be offered a choice of: Boost Energy 500ml, Boost Sport 500ml or Boost Active 500ml. Winning players under 16 years old will be offered a choice of Boost Sport 500ml or Boost Active 500ml.
9. Only genuine game play scores will be considered for prizes. If unusually high scores are logged on the leader board, the score submission details will be investigated by Boost Drinks and if the scores are deemed to result from the exploitation of the game code, or hacking, the score will not be considered for a prize. These scores will be removed from the leader board and the submitted email address will be notified. All decisions made by Boost Drinks are final.
10. The prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternatives will be offered. Any costs incurred through participation in the competition are the responsibility of the winner.
11. Names and counties of winners are available by writing to the promoter at Boost Drinks Ltd, Oakwood House, 637 Roundhay Road, Leeds, LS8 4BA, enclosing an SAE.
