Terms and conditions

  1. The promoter is: Boost Drinks, a company registered in England and Wales with number 04242514 and registered office at 1270 Century Way, Thorpe Park, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS15 8ZB, UK
  2. The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over except employees of Boost Drinks and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.
  3. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions and agree for Boost Drinks to add them to their website mailing list.
  4. Opening date will be from the 1st July 2021. Closing date for entries will be 17th September 2021. After this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted/reviewed.
  5. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
  6. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
  7. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
  8. Competition entrants must submit their applications via the Boost website URL: boostdrinks.com/20years
  9. All applications will be collated and judged by the “platinum panel” after the 17th September 2021.
  10. The 20 winners will be notified by telephone once the shortlist has been finalised.
  11. There will be 20 prizes in total. 17 of these prizes will equate to the value of £250 of Boost stock. This value is in relation to the retail value NOT the cost of stock to the supplier. Winners will receive a mixture of stock and this will be selected by Boost Drinks. There will be no return of stock unless the retailer can prove it is damaged or past its sell-by date.
  12. The remaining 3 prizes will equate to three differing monetary values. The top 3 retailers will win the following:
    1. 3rd place: £1,000
    2. 2nd Place: £2,000
    3. 1st Place: £20,000
  13. Winners will be paid by cheque and will need to provide all relevant documentation for payment. Failure to comply may result in no prize being given.
  14. As part of their application, winners must give a valid description of what they will spend their prize fund on. This will ultimately contribute towards the judge’s decision on the winner.
  15. The winner of £20,000 must be willing and able to partake in PR activity after the prize is given, including photos and a an interview.
  16. Winners may be subject to background checks prior to any prize offering.
  17. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
  18. The winner and runners up will be chosen at by a panel of industry specialists comprising of Boost employees and Vice President of the NFRN.
  19. The winner will be notified at the awards ceremony at 30 Euston Square, London on 18th November 2021. If the winner cannot attend the event for whatever reason, they will be notified by telephone and will have 14 days to claim their prize.
  20. All 20 winners will be given a contribution of £250 towards their travel, accommodation and expenses to attend the awards ceremony.
  21. The promoter will notify the winner when the prize will be delivered.
  22. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  23. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  24. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
  25. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry details. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent, except for the purposes of this promotion.
  26. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.

  29. English law shall govern these terms and conditions. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
  30. The promoter’s decision regarding promotional matters will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
