Boost’s Amy Ankrah is Crowned FWD Young Supplier of the Year
Boost Drinks is celebrating after its Trade Marketing Manager Amy Ankrah was recognised for her commitment and dedication to supporting the channel, by receiving the FWD Gold Medal Award for ‘Young Supplier of the Year’.
The FWD awards are held annually to celebrate the work of wholesalers and suppliers. The Young Supplier award was nominated and voted for by FWD members based on the contributions they have seen individuals make and the dedication they’ve shown in building relationships with suppliers in the year to August 2018.
Amy Ankrah has held the position of Trade Marketing Manager at Boost Drinks for four years and in that time has expanded the team, consistently introduced innovative new campaigns and built a respected and valued reputation within the trade.
Over the past 12 months Amy has delivered a consistent calendar of promotions to ensure customers are constantly seeing the value and support offered by Boost. She has also ensured that she has kept ahead of industry news and developments to offer guidance and support to customers as well as helping Boost navigate changes.
Her customers also recognised her for the strong relationships she’s built, spending the last 12 months tirelessly attending events and shows to shout about Boost. Amy takes responsibility for Boost’s presence at trade events and has never missed an opportunity to speak face-to-face with the trade, listen to their thoughts on the Boost range and offer advice on how the business can help grow sales.
Amy Ankrah, Trade Marketing Manager for Boost Drinks, said: “I am incredibly proud to have received this award and knowing it was voted for by customers makes it all the more special. I have always believed that one of the most important aspects to my role is building up relationships and doing what I can to support wholesalers. It’s an absolute dream to have this recognised and makes me even more determined to go further in the coming year.”
This award comes off the back of what has been a hugely successful year for the energy, protein and sports drink producer. Throughout 2018, Boost brought not one, but two new products to the market, put on its most successful summer marketing campaign ever and is now the official #2 Sports and Energy SKU in the UK!
