Who are the three finalists?

Three organisations in Great Britain have been shortlisted to the final of the 2nd round of the Boost Choose Now Change Lives community grant initiative and are in with a chance of receiving a stake of the £20k grant. It is now down to the public to cast your votes and decide which organisation should receive the winning share. All finalists will each receive some support from Boost.

BCHA - Urban Bike Project

BCHA are looking to launch the Urban Bike Project to provide their community memeber with free opportunities to learn new practical skills as well as provide affordable access to restored bikes and promoting cycling as a way to improve mental and physical health.

Through the creation of a volunteer-led bike workshop to restore abandoned and donated bikes, delivering affordable bikes to be sold within the local community, the Urban Bike Project will leave a legacy of sustainable skills wihtin in the community as well as aiming to improve health and well being of their community.

Hope For Justice

Hope for Justice exists to bring an end to modern slavery by preventing exploitation, rescuing victims, restoring lives and reforming society. Their goal is to prevent at risk individuals from entering modern slavery by educating them to the signs, indicators and tactics of traffickers.

The organisation are looking to deliver a number of outreach session in the most at risk communities across West Yorkshire providing education and aftercare to the most at risk individuals.

TotRockinBeat CIC - Dad La Soul

Dad La Soul combats loneliness, improves mental wellbeing, reduces suicide and improves family stability, supporting isolated dads and male carers.

Through the Dad La Soul group, TotRockinBeat CIC are hoping to host 10 online events to help isolated dads to combat lineliness and encourage them to speak about their problems with a goal of improving their mental health and well being and create long term friendships.
