Who are the three finalists?

Three organisations in Northern Ireland have been shortlisted to the final of the 1st round of the Boost Choose Now Change Lives community grant initiative and are in with a chance of receiving a stake of the £10k grant. It is now down to the public to cast your votes and decide which organisation should receive the winning share. All finalists will each receive some support from Boost.

Dramabitity 1


Dramability offer the chance for everybody of all ages both with and without disabilities the chance to participate in dance, drama and music in an inclusive environment.

As they celebrate their 30th anniversary, Dramability are looking to bring a community back together by re-launching their project this summer and inviting new members to join in. Dramability are aiming to help those who have been particularly affected by lockdown through the increased levels of isolation, loneliness and lack of services.

Bally Kelly

Ballykelly Men's Shed

Ballykelly Men's Sheds offer support to disabled men and their families by providing community activities such as woodworking, gardening, computer workshops and other classes in an aim to improve their mental and physical health.

Ballykelly are looking to develop an outdoor space which will include a wildlife garden, social area and community garden. This would all be done by members of the Ballykelly Men's Shed project.



Foodstock support people in West Belfast who are in poverty becoming an important part of their community. They are dedicated to help give people of all backgrounds an opportunity to change their mindsets and help others around them.

Foodstock are looking to expand their Giving Gardens project which encourages volunteers to help in growing vegetables to give back to the foodbank. These vegetables then form part of food parcels which are handed out to the vulnerable.
