How long been stocking Boost drinks?
We have been stocking Boost Drinks since we opened, which was about 4 or 5 years ago.
Why do you choose to stock Boost Drinks?
Boost is a really good seller, so it is really important that we stock this drink in order to maximise our sales. We get through about 4-6 cases every single week, so the brand is essential for our store.
Which are the most popular energy drinks in your store?
There is no denying that Red Bull is the most popular product in our store. However, Boost Energy Original is a close second, mainly due to its price point. The taste is just as good as Red Bull, however, it is almost half the price. For our customers who are looking to save money, Boost fills that gap in the market and is bought mainly for its 49p price mark. We have just ordered the sugar-free so we are interested to see how this performs in our store too.
Did you know that Boost is only available in independent stores?
I didn’t know that but it makes me love the brand even more.
Is there anything else you would like Boost to do?
We are always a fan of the offers they put on, as they seem to be out there to really help the retailer. We love the 12 for 10 deal around winter time.
What sort of demographic do you see buying boost drinks?
We see just about everyone buying it but they tend to be over 18. We have workers, men, women, mums and dads so it really is a brand that suits everyone.
What flavor do you think Boost should bring out?
Customers are going crazy for all things that are watermelon at the moment! So I would definitely recommend Boost follows suit and brings out an energy drink or sports drink in this flavor.
