Retailer Testimonial - Wale - Nisa Local Hall Lane

BOOST has a really visible price which is popular with my customers. It also is a really good quality energy drink for the cost too.

Why do you think BOOST Drinks does well in your store?

It is a really popular drink because it is well-established and the brand is well-known to a lot of people. For this reason, people trust it and choose to buy it.

How does it compare to Red Bull or other competitors?

The thing about BOOST Drinks is that the price is completely different. BOOS sells better than Red Bull in our store because it is almost £1 less to get a BOOST, but serves the same purpose and tastes just as good!

Who is the typical customers who buys BOOST?

I haven’t noticed a particular pattern amongst the regular buyers – it seems to be a drink for everyone. However it is more popular with those over 18 than the school kids.

Is there anything else BOOST can do to support your business?

I would say BOOST needs to bring out even more flavours. I don’t know much about BOOST’s other flavours, just original and sugar-free. Other brands like Monster for example have 15-20 flavours and are always innovating which means the brand is really exciting and popular and keeps customers coming back.

Also, I never see BOOST. Monster and Red Bull come at least once a month, albeit randomly! If those brands are bringing out a new flavour it feels like we are the first to know and they bring around samples and information. BOOST could definitely do more of that.

Which flavour should BOOST bring out?

Strawberry. Monster’s strawberry flavour sells really well.

What about coffee energy drinks?

Yes our RTD coffees do really well so can imagine coffee energy drinks will too
